Danny Begasse is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, where he focuses on U.S. and international patent prosecution and portfolio management. With a background in computer engineering and nearly a decade of experience as a technical advisor, patent agent, and patent prosecution associate at two prominent Atlanta law firms, Danny brings a strong blend of technical expertise and legal insight to his work in intellectual property protection.

In his practice, Danny provides strategic guidance to help clients align their intellectual property needs with their business goals. He counsels clients on patent and trade secret strategy, manages U.S. and global patent portfolios, and conducts trademark clearance and IP due diligence. Danny has drafted and prosecuted patent applications across a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and software systems, wireless communications, semiconductor manufacturing, and machine learning. He has additional experience with freedom to operate, patentability, and invalidity investigations.

Danny earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
